Our stuffing mix can be cooked on the stovetop, as a casserole, or stuffed inside the bird.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Heat five teaspoons of butter on medium-high heat in a saucepan. Add one cup of diced onion and one cup of diced celery and cook until they are tender. Next, add two cups of chicken broth and heat to a boil. Remove the saucepan from heat, add the stuffing mix and mix gently. Serve hot.
To cook in a casserole, heat the oven to 350°F. Place the cooked stuffing mixture into a greased 2-qt. casserole dish. Cover and bake the herb seasoned stuffing for 30 minutes or until hot.
To cook inside poultry, loosely spoon the cooked stuffing mixture into the bird of your choice. Any remaining stuffing mix can be placed in a casserole dish and added to the oven during the final 30 minutes of roasting time. Roast the bird according to the directions on its packaging.
